Heat and cooling energy

The company Gassner has realized the renovation of the heating and cooling system at the Wertachklinik in Schwabmünchen. For this project, a block heat and power plant with storage tank as well as a gas condensing boiler were installed. The existing hydraulics were converted to suit. During the renovation phase, the hospital was supplied with heat for the heating of drinking water via an existing gas boiler. This was temporarily connected to the network and removed after the new system was completed.

Two water-cooled compression refrigerators were also installed. A glycol recooler is installed on the roof of the energy center for recooling.

The current renovations at both Wertach hospitals, which have already been finished at the Bobingen hospital, are directed at improving patient comfort and adapting the spatial conditions to modern medical equipment.
